Why We're Here
As of June 2015, the number of homeless men, women and children in New York City tallied nearly 60,000, up 60% from June 2010. The number of homeless New Yorkers living in the shelter system has reached its highest level since the Great Depression, and there are an estimated 3,500 more homeless people living on the streets and in the subways. With shelter resources stretched thin, and a large homeless population living outside of the shelter system, there is constant need for reliable and healthy sources of food.
We're here to make the world a little less hungry.
